Pizza Class:
Join our experienced pizzaiolo for a delightful afternoon and evening to learn how to make authentic Neapolitan pizza. Pietro works the dough by hand and allows it to rise twice. He spreads each pizza by hand as well and tops them with fresh seasonal ingredients from our gardens. In the Neapolitan tradition he likes to keep it simple to bring out the best of the finest flavors of the fresh produce.
The pizzas are then rapidly cooked three at a time in our specially built wood burning pizza oven and buon appetito!

An approximate schedule:
2:00 Dough making. Everyone participates in this all important step.
3:30 Enjoy a beverage and light local hors-d'oeuvres relaxing in our beautiful Tuscan mountain setting.
4:30: Punch down and divide the dough.
6:00 Pizza preparation.
6:30 Mangiamo!
Cost, meal and beverages included: €25 per person, six persons minimum.
Transportation can be arranged from Barga for a fee depending on the size of the group. |
